We need a companion carer (preferably female) to work with a lady in her 30s with Autism.

 

Ideally the companion carer is around the same age.

You will be supporting and accompanying the lady with her social activities outside the home e.g evening clubs/Alton Towers (and go on the rides).

You must have experience and knowledge of Autism in a working environment.

There is no requirement to wear a uniform for this specific role.

You must :

• Have working experience with an adult with Autism

• Be a car driver and have your own vehicle

• Have the relevant car insurance to transport a customer in your vehicle and have been a driver for more than 6 months

• Be a non-smoker or be willing not to smoke during the working shift

• Be willing to travel around the Cheadle(Staffs) and Stoke areas with this lady

In return:

• You will be paid £12/hour

• Your business mileage paid at 20p/mile

• Expenses e.g. lunch paid for by the customer

• Receive weekly pay and your business mileage re-imbursed weekly

• You will be employed by The Care Company and therefore PAYE & NI deductions are made in weekly payroll

• Your enhanced DBS check is paid for by the company

 

The following working days are set days as they fit around her other activities:

Mondays 9am to 4pm

Thursdays 4pm to 8pm

Fridays 9am to 4pm
